This is an exceptional and impressive size for the Anatase crystal of 2.5 cm / 25 mm with magnificent crystal quality. It's double terminated with fine crystal edges, well crystalized all around with secondary crystal and Albite attached as matrix. It has metallic glassy luster with natural art on the crystal surface. It's an indeed incredible example for the species in such perfection and aesthetic visuals.

One of the notable features of anatase is its high refractive index, making it optically interesting. It exhibits strong birefringence, meaning that it can split light into two polarized beams. This property has applications in various optical devices.

Anatase Description:

Anatase Mineral is a metastable mineral shape of titanium dioxide (TiO2) with a tetragonal crystal structure. even though colorless or white while natural, anatase in nature is often a black solid because of impurities. Other 3 polymorphs (or mineral forms) of titanium dioxide are known to occur clearly: brookite, akaogiite, and rutile, with rutile being the most commonplace and maximum solid of the bunch.
