A metallic luster Hematite crystal aggregate is a remarkable mineral specimen characterized by its captivating appearance and unique structural features. Hematite, with its iron-rich composition, forms intricate crystal aggregates that can exhibit twinning, a phenomenon where two or more crystal structures grow together, creating a symmetrical and often geometrically pleasing arrangement. The metallic luster of Hematite imparts a stunning, reflective sheen to the surface of the crystals, giving them a striking visual appeal. When these twinned Hematite crystals come together in an aggregate, they can create mesmerizing patterns and shapes, ranging from complex interlocking blades to intricate rosettes.

The name Hematite comes from a Greek word meaning Blood which is derived from the fact that, when cut, the saw coolant becomes colored red. Hematite is one of the most common minerals. The color of most red and brown rocks, such as sandstone, is caused by small amounts of Hematite.
It is also responsible for the red color of many minerals. Hematite can be in reddish-brown, dark silvery-grey scaled masses, ocherous masses, silvery-grey crystals, and dark-grey masses. Formerly used as mourning jewelry, but today mainly for rings and necklaces. It takes a very high polish.
