In the beginning, the only known occurrence of Parisite Minerals was inside the famous emerald mine at Muzo in Colombia, South the United States, where it become discovered by J.J. Paris, who rediscovered and worked the mine in the early part of the 19th century; right here it's far related to emerald in a bituminous limestone of Cretaceous age. Parisite is usually Parisite-(Ce), but when neodymium is present inside the shape the mineral becomes Parisite-(Nd).
